This pier was torn down in the early 90's to make way for a new marina. We transplanted well over
200 of these to Agua Hedionda lagoon and Mission Bay before their habitat was destroyed. Mature
specimens have a orange aperture.

to Gem as you can get with these, they are usually stained and heavily eroded .
